To celebrate the relaunch, Woburn Forest hosted over 50 clients and agency partners on 10 November for a day of activities and tours, followed by a drinks reception and three-course gala dinner in the new space.
The relaunch saw 12 clients (23% of bookings) return to the forest, and 40 new client bookings in the first two months, all of which were seeking a destination that could offer a “balance of business and nature.”
Approximately 75% of bookings have made use of the onsite leisure facilities, and more than two thirds (67%) have stayed overnight.
Cat Bird, national sales manager at Center Parcs, said: “Since we announced the relaunch of The Venue we have hosted 130 individual site visits, as agents and businesses have been eager to see the newly refurbished space.
“The biggest draw to Woburn Forest is that it’s all under one roof – the team building facilities, F&B, accommodation and event spaces are all arranged by us – a single provider, taking away the stress and logistical planning that organisers would otherwise have to deal with.”
