They will be taking bookings from autumn 2022 onwards, the reopening of both locations comes after a period of closure due to the pandemic, and a £2.5m investment to upgrade and enhance the facilities at Woburn Forest.
Julia Green, sales and commercial manager at Center Parcs, said: “Following an in-depth study of the current trends within the industry, we have reviewed our product offering and made changes in response to client demand. We haven’t just switched back on, we have repositioned an already fantastic product to make it more enticing and rewarding than ever before.”
Both Sherwood Forest and Woburn Forest offer conference and event spaces located in the centre of the forest, providing an outside scenery for event planners and delegates. They also enable event planners to mix and match the activities on offer to cater to people who have different interests and levels of mobility and fitness.
Before the pandemic, Woburn Forest and Sherwood Forest welcomed repeat bookings from customers including Virgin Holidays and Giggling Squid. In 2022 and beyond, Center Parcs aims to welcome back their regular clients and secure new clients.
Colin Whaley, sales and marketing director at Center Parcs, commented: “The conference and events industry’s reawakening since the pandemic has seen a spike in interest in unique locations with nature at the heart, allowing businesses to combine valuable work and collaboration with wellbeing, all in a professional environment. We feel the relaunch of Woburn Forest and Sherwood Forest couldn’t be better timed.”
