If you are planning a drinks reception for early next year, here is an offer worth knowing about. Cavendish Venues is including a complimentary canapé package from The City Canapé Company with new drinks reception bookings for events held between 1 January and 30 April 2027.

We book receptions across London all year, and the first four months are a good time to do it: the Christmas rush is over, venues have more choice of dates, and a well-run reception is an easy way to open the year with clients or reward a team after a busy quarter.

What the offer includes

The canapés are cooked and hand-finished in The City Canapé Company’s kitchen near Old Street, delivered to the venue by cargo bike in around 10 to 15 minutes, so they arrive fresh and with no delivery emissions. Menus run from savoury bites such as mini burgers and smoked salmon blinis to plant-based options and sweet canapés, with dietary requirements catered for.

The offer applies at all five Cavendish Venues sites, each a five-minute walk from a Tube station:

• 1 Basinghall Avenue, near Bank and Moorgate, with a Level 11 roof terrace looking across to St Paul’s
• The Minster Building, on Mincing Lane near Monument and Fenchurch Street
• 1 America Square, near Tower Hill, beside a section of the Roman London Wall
• 44 Hallam Street, a Grade II listed building in Fitzrovia
• 22 Duchess Mews, a short walk from Oxford Circus

The small print

• New drinks reception bookings only, for events between 1 January and 30 April 2027.
• The offer must be mentioned when you book.
• Minimum booking value of £2,500 excluding VAT; standard room hire and minimum spend apply.
• Complimentary canapés capped at £1,000 per booking, once per client, and not combinable with other offers.
• The venue may substitute a chef’s selection to suit dietary needs.
