The guests accommodation is constructed with eco-friendly materials and The Great Barn restaurant is powered by solar panels and geothermal heating. Water conservation is prioritised with rainwater harvesting and advanced filtration systems using their own onsite borehole. Retreat East promotes biodiversity, offers farm-to-table dining using locally sourced, organic ingredients, and engages guests in environmental education and conservation activities.

Retreat East has a selection of accessible barns which are all on one level. With parking directly outside the restaurant and accessible barn. There is a disable bathroom within the restaurant for guests.
