Run by a family owned company, the dynamic and intimate venue showcases the architectural beauty of the former royal agricultural hall with its original ironwork, contemporary design and abundance of natural light. With venue space ranging from small meetings right through to conferences for 2,000 delegates and exhibition space spanning 6000m², the Business Design Centre’s event capabilities are truly flexible.
Ideally located only 10 minutes away from Kings Cross St. Pancras and a short walk from Angel tube station, the BDC is one of London’s most popular conference and exhibition venues with over 6000m2 of event space.
We have a number of spaces available here, at the Business Design Centre, ranging from 55 to 2500sqm. All our spaces are blank canvas’s, hosting a wide range of events from technology, health & wellness, design, lifestyle, food&drink, career fairs and small meetings.
Gallery Hall- 840sqm with an abundance of natural light, the Hall comes included with a purpose built registration desk and cloakroom. The area also comes with an Atrium space above for an extra 500sqm, looking over the Gallery Hall space.
Rooms A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H – are located in our conference centre and seat between 50-250 theatre style. All of these rooms are on the same floor and can be followed through from the Gallery Hall space. Alternatively these can be hired individually for smaller events (all have partitions for extended numbers)
Mezzanine – the Grade II listed part of the building, the Mezzanine is a total of 2500sqm and is column-free making it an ideal blank canvas for any event
Auditorium – seats up to 500 theatre with 268 on our retractable tiered seating and the remaining chairs on the flat floor (also seats 224 cabaret or 360 mixed tiered seating/cabaret). This space also has full black-out facilities and a self-controlled rigging system
All costs vary dependant on number of days, time of year etc.
Gallery Hall – £10,000.00+VAT per day
Room A – £3,000.00+VAT per day
Rooms B-H – £900.00+VAT per day
Mezzanine – £16,500.00+VAT per day
Auditorium – £9,000.00+VAT per day
Celebrating 10 years as a carbon neutral venue is an achievement we are very proud of. We have also contributed 0% to landfill for many of those years and the venue has now switched its energy supply to 100% renewable resources. There are many initiatives we have set up over the years and are keen to work with all those who use the venue to remove any negative impacts from the successful operation of the building and the events held here. We have created this information to provide support to guests and clients of the BDC, and hope that you will work with us to be part of the solution.
At the Business Design Centre all visitors should be able to enjoy the same awarding winning customer experience across the whole venue.
