National Justice Museum

Grade II* listed building is located in the heart of Nottingham’s historic Lace Market offering a dramatic setting for a range of events and occasions. From intimate meeting rooms, to magnificent Grand Jury Room and the awe-inspiring Victorian Courtroom, the National Justice Museum has become a first choice for many event organisers across the UK. An ideal venue for meetings, conferences, weddings, birthday parties and celebrations, it is also a popular filming location.

 Wollaton Hall

Wollaton Hall is a Grade I listed building and one of the finest Elizabethan mansions in England. Recently transformed into Wayne Manor for the filming of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises, the Hall stands on a hill in 500 acres of beautiful parkland in which red and fallow deer roam freely. At night, the floodlit hall looks spectacular from every perspective. The Hall’s elegant rooms are available for events and functions, including weddings, film and photography shoots, special occasions – parties and sleepovers – corporate seminars, training and social events, as well as product and press launches.

 Canalside Heritage Centre

The Canalside Heritage Centre is a vibrant hub for visitors to enjoy and explore, with an enticing tea room, welcoming gift shop and interpretation centre, as well as tranquil gardens and lots of activities to delight in. Enjoy a walk along the river or the canal, either with one of the volunteer walk leaders or at your leisure. Look out for the many boats, enjoy the changing colours and sunshine on the water and enjoy the plentiful wildlife that can be found at any time of year. The Weir View Room is available to hire for private functions, corporate events and community workshops. Set within the historic 18th century cottages with beautiful views over our garden and the River Trent, it’s the perfect space for a wide variety of activities.

The Framework Knitters Museum

The Framework Knitters Museum in Ruddington is a unique surviving example of a 19th century framework knitters’ yard. The site has been lovingly restored as a living history museum. You’ll discover how framework knitters and their families lived and worked here in Victorian times – the sights, the sounds and even the smells! If you’re looking for a meeting or conference venue with a difference, the Framework Knitters Museum is the perfect choice. The well-appointed Chapel offers all the facilities you’d expect from a modern meeting space, in atmospheric heritage surroundings.
