Spanish City is the most iconic venue in the North East, Seaward-facing in Whitley bay revealing incredible views of the coast and St Mary’s Island. Spanish City offers an award winning fish & chip restaurant called Trenchers, a spectacular afternoon tea in Valerie’s Tearoom, fine dining in 1910 Steak & Seafood restaurant, a wide range of champagne and oysters in our Champagne Bar & delicious sweet treats in our Waffle & Pancake House.

Seaward-facing in Whitley bay revealing incredible views of the coast and St Mary’s Island. Just 20 minutes outside of Newcastle city centre.

One events space named The St Mary’s Lighthouse Suite and exclusive hire of the full venue is also available.
Price
Day delegate packages are from £33 pp. None DDR rates are based on a room hire and minimum spend.
Accessibility
Spanish City prides itself on being inclusive and working with all our visitors.
Spanish City recognises that visitors with a disability may need assistance to fully enjoy the experience. There is a number of disabled bays in our car park right outside of the building. Disabled toilets are on every floor too.
There is a lift leading to the second floor located on the right hand side, inside the building, just outside of Trenchers and Valerie’s. Then, there is a lift from the second floor to the roof, located on the opposite side of the Dome.
Also, there is a lift in Valerie’s tearoom that allows you to access Spanish City from The Links entrance.
