Park Head Hotel and Restaurant is the latest addition to The Auckland Project, a regeneration charity with a difference. Offering 38 en-suite guest rooms alongside a 76 seater restaurant and function space accommodating up to 50 guests, set in well landscaped grounds including an external courtyard and south facing terrace.
Location
Conveniently located in the heart of County Durham, Park Head Hotel is situated on the outskirts of the historic town of Bishop Auckland, within easy reach of the city of Durham, and nearby towns.
Rooms
38 en suite bedrooms including single, double, king size, super king and twin rooms, all renovated and refurbished in 2023.
The Laurel Room is an air conditioned private room which is unobstructed, and is suitable for various set ups and layouts including banqueting, cabaret, theatre style and drinks reception.
Price
£30 pp day delegate rate for corporate events. Banqueting menus from £16 per person + £200 room hire charge.
Accessibility
The Hotel offers accessible accommodation with two specially adapted guest rooms, and all public areas (restaurant, bar, reception and function space) are all located on the ground floor with step free access.
