A unique venue for safely managed meetings and events in the heart of Manchester. As well as home to the Quakers we are a professional events venue in the centre of Manchester with 11 different rooms ranging from one-to-one to a conference hall of 300.
This venue is ideally placed for public transport. St Peter’s Square tram stop is only a minutes’ walk from the Friends’ Meeting House front door. The building is within walking distance from all four of Manchester’s main train stations. There are stops for various bus networks all around us and a taxi rank only two minutes’ away.
The Main Hall seats 300 (50 with physical distancing), across the floor and balconies. We also have 10 additional flexible meeting rooms with simple and modern décor. All large and medium sized rooms come complete with integrated technology for hire. Set across two floors, all the main rooms open up on to the atrium (up-stairs) or the concourse (downstairs), meaning navigating around the building is easy.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by following, and encouraging, sustainable best practice. As a result we have achieved Silver Green Tourism Award.
Street level access – We have a ramp to the right-hand side of steps to enter from street level
Access to all floors – We have a lift to access all floors, most rooms are accessible to wheelchair users apart from F17, F16, F15 and F14
Toilets – There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor and a disabled toilet on the first floor with access via the lift
Hearing – We have a hearing loop system built into the Main Hall and a mobile loop system to use in any other room if requested by the organisers.
Diet – We can cater to specific allergen dietary requirements if ordered in advance
