Our historic London venue offers a beautiful backdrop to a whole host of events including conferences, parties, weddings, awards ceremonies and meetings. BMA House in Tavistock Square is a stunning, Grade II listed building which was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1911 and has been home to the British Medical Association since 1925. We also have two large outdoor areas – an impressive Courtyard and a tranquil botanical Garden – a rare find for such a central location.
For almost 100 years, BMA House has sat in the heart of London in Tavistock Square
BMA House has 22 beautiful event spaces, each boasting its own charms and personality. Whether you’re hosting a board meeting for eight senior team members or a full-day conference for up to 294 delegates, you’ll find the perfect room for your conference or meeting at our central London venue. We also have two stunning outdoor spaces – a Courtyard and an inspiring, botanical Garden – in which you can entertain your guests during the summer months.
Sustainability to us is a way of life. We aim to lead and promote a sustainable lifestyle for every client, supplier and employee, encouraging carbon balancing and water neutralising in events. As part of an ongoing drive to maximise sustainability, we have reduced our delegate carbon footprint by 69% over the last four years, whilst reducing water usage by 5.4 million litres per year.
Our teams have worked tirelessly to achieve a Gold accreditation with Green Tourism, no mean feat for a Grade II listed building. This prestigious certification was awarded for our inspirational environmental ethos and excellent practices throughout the business. We’re continuously required to provide evidence of new initiatives to retain this level, ensuring environmental impact is top of our agenda.
It only takes a couple of minutes to send us your brief online and we will get to work.
I'd be pleased to recommend Jenny, The Venue Booker. I knew our request was going to be a tall order but she rose to the challenge, negotiated some cracking rates and retained her patience and professionalism despite some spectacular dithering at our end!

Sarah Grant, GKN
The Venue Booker is a fantastic service, not only finding the best venue for my event but the constant support throughout the build-up and event itself. Professionalism throughout with great communication. Nothing was too much hassle which made the process effortless! Highly recommend and will be back in the future!
Sarah Grant, GKN
The Venue Booker provided us with a fantastic selection of venues to view for the two events we enquired about – each of these met our brief, several offered something really special and most of them came with discounted rates that we would not have been able to achieve on our own. The service is free of charge and Jenny is friendly and helpful. We will definitely use them again.

Easy to work with and cost-effective. In 2014 The Venue Booker was asked to identify a suitable, new venue for Chambers’ prestigious Medical Law Lecture. Jenny not only met the brief by finding the right venue but she also secured it on favourable terms.
