We are a family owned hotel and have been proudly welcoming our guests to the Country House for over 15 years. A choice of 6 event spaces ensures we can accommodate your event, be it for 2 or 400 delegates For conference and meetings, here at Beamish Hall we offer some of the best equipped and most luxurious conference facilities in the region. We can cater to your every need and offer a completely bespoke service so that however you want your event to look and feel, we have it covered. All our conferencing facilities in the hall are on the ground floor and therefore easily accessible and parking is free and plentiful.
Based in the idyllic Beamish Valley surrounded by acres of woodland. We are conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Newcastle and Durham City with Newcastle Airport a short 30 min drive away. The closest train station is at Chester-Le-Street, only 15 minutes away.
Winter Garden: This spectacular suite has a marquee style roof and stunning terrace with large windows overlooking the grounds.
Monboucher: Stunning bay windows overlook the acres of parklands, leaving you with a beautiful back drop for your event, conference or meeting. Over the years we’ve kept these fabulous original features which Compliment the Monboucher perfectly. As well as a separate bar area.
Shafto Hall: A magnificent suite complemented by oak panelling, stained glass windows and minstrels’ gallery.
Common Room: Finished with period features and specially woven carpeting that carries one of the original crests associated with the Hall.

We have disabled access to the front and the rear of the hotel. All of our conferencing facilities in the hall are on the ground floor and therefore easily accessible. We also have 4 accessible bedrooms on the ground floor.

I'd be pleased to recommend Jenny, The Venue Booker. I knew our request was going to be a tall order but she rose to the challenge, negotiated some cracking rates and retained her patience and professionalism despite some spectacular dithering at our end!
