Arebyte Gallery

arebyte – a contemporary space dedicated to New Media and Performance Art – will relocate its gallery and create affordable artists’ workspaces at London City Island (LCI), the new island neighbourhood set to become a hub for creative living and cultural excellence. The English National Ballet and London Film School will also be moving to LCI 2018 arebyte, in collaboration with Studiomakers (Outset) and Ballymore are excited to announce the launch of a brand new affordable co-working complex for artists, designers and creatives at our new location on London City Island, E14 (a 5 minute walk from Canning Town Station). As part of its 1st phase, arebyte will offer 26 desk spaces priced from £130 per month. The newly-built desk spaces, situated on the mezzanine floor of one of two studio buildings, are made to the highest specifications and benefit from an abundance of natural light and a contemporary style. arebyte_Studios, affordable artists studios, will also be onsite, alongside the main gallery space arebyte_Gallery, which will present arebyte’s main artistic programme. The studios, situated within the ground floor of a new residential development, are built to the highest specs and benefit from an abundance of natural light and a contemporary feel. Onsite there will also be ‘arebyte_Co-Working’, a dedicated desk space area for artists and creatives as well as our main gallery space ‘arebyte_Gallery’ focusing on New Media and Performance arts. As well as access to the all the studio facilities, there will also be an onsite curator who will give artists an opportunity to be part of a group show in our new gallery. Studio visits and informal mentoring will also be initiated to provide support and a sense of community.
