Day delegate rates in UK meeting venues reached their highest in the last 10 years in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to the latest Venue Verdict research from BVA BDRC.

Venues in the Northwest have shown the highest increase! 39%

The northwest has seen a 39 per cent rise in rates since 2019 to reach £48.59

Conference Venues in London have shown the slowest growth! 20%

London grew by 25 per cent to reach £83.67 when compared to 2019, however London has seen the fastest growth compared to 2021 with a 16% rise in quoted day delegate rates.

Meeting Venues in the Provinces as a whole up 28%

Louise Eccleston, client services director, BVA BDRC, said: “The ability to pass on costs to customers has been a great relief to the sector, which, as in the wider hospitality sector, has been suffering under increased costs across operations, most notably in energy and staffing.”
