MEPC reveals new business space

MEPC, a developer and asset management company, has announced the opening of its new meeting, conference and events space, The Terrace, which will open on 9 October.

Located near Leeds Station, the space aims to meet the growing demand for event space in the city, for businesses based at Wellington Place and other companies in the region.

The Terrace is situated on the fifth floor of 3, Wellington Place. It will offer flexible meeting spaces, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the roof terrace.

The space includes four meeting and conference rooms which can accommodate between one and 150 people. It can be used to host larger events or intimate meetings and will be run by Ashdown Phillips & Partners, a property management company.

The space booking will include stationery, unlimited hot drinks and water, snacks, wipe boards and audio-visual facilities. Catering and phone and video conferencing can also be provided on request.

The development of 7 and 8 Wellington Place is expected to be completed at the end of 2019.

The construction of four Wellington Place is also ongoing and it will offer 14,500sqm of office space.

Not only is it set to be a real asset to the Wellington Place community, but the wider region, offering a flexible and impressive event space for a whole range of occasions and needs. We hope that it will expand the networking opportunities available to the region and entice more businesses to consider expanding or relocating their business to Leeds city centre.”
