Destination King’s Cross

11 Mar 2017

Granary Sq

King’s Cross has a rich and colourful past. Its location at the meeting point of road, river and rail has shaped its history. This can be seen in the old buildings and layout of the streets.

King’s Cross has a rich industrial heritage. The buildings from that industrial era are now being refurbished and reused. This means coming up with creative solutions to convert buildings that were designed for a very different purpose.

More than 20 historic buildings and structures are being restored in all. This has led to King’s Cross being named as “One of England’s 20 Best Heritage-Led Developments” by English Heritage.

If you are looking for an event venue in King’s Cross, it offers some of the best new spaces in London. Hosting events from small meetings and functions to festivals for 4,000 people.

Kings Place, a fabulous arts and conference venue located on York Way houses two auditoriums, two art galleries and the canal side Rotunda Bar & restaurant. For smaller meeting spaces, there is Wallace Space, a converted warehouse, the meeting spaces are designed around an Ocean liner theme!
